GALLERY 4 - Usak Carpets
Usak carpets have thick wool pile and are produced in the inner Aegean region of Turkey. This style of carpet represented
the second golden age of Turkish carpets after the Seljuk period and were often found in palaces, cathedrals and in the homes
of wealthy Europeans.
USAK carpets have also be referred to as Holbein Carpets, named after the 16th century painter who
often depicted them in his paintings. These carpets are distinguished by a large floral, star, or medallion pattern contained within a distinctive border.
These are representative USAK carpets that may still be in stock and may be purchased (see order details), or we have similar rugs that can be pulled. This gallery helps you to identify the 'look' that you are seeking,
so tell us what you like. We have a broad selection of colors and sizes! Please contact us with your specific requirements.
